Welcome Archbishop Carlson
Tomorrow Archbishop Robert J. Carlson will officially take the helm of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The archdiocese is the archdiocese which oversees my diocese, the Diocese of Jefferson City.
I would have loved to attend the Mass or Evening prayer tonight, but due to work obligations I cannot make either of these exciting events.
It is certainly a wonderful and exciting time for the archdiocese as they prepare for this change we should all keep the new archbishop and all the people of the archdiocese in our prayers.
Fortunately the Archdiocese has done a wonderful job embracing new technology and the Internet in providing a great deal of coverage.
