Busy week
After a wonderful weekend traveling back to New Jersey for my sister’s high school graduation, I have since had a pretty busy week which has resulted in a lack of posting.
While I was in New Jersey, two priests from the diocese passed away. Both had been priests for more than 25 years. I had only had the opportunity to meet one of them when he was in the hospital in Columbia. Their deaths made this week a busy one in that there were visitations and funerals to attend.
Both funeral liturgies were beautiful, and it was nice to see some priests/seminarians who I had not seen in a while as well as meet others. However, obviously, I wish it were under better circumstances.
Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.

faithful departed, rest in peace.
